Lyrics:

Let me sketch the scene,
So I will remember.
I remember as a hazy dream,
A search for fear and anger.

This loop I lived in, Turned it bleak,
Grey, empty, the light of the past makes the present light weak.
I look over an empty field.
Where would grow life, I'm planting concrete.

So consumed by an empty life, i started to fill it.
I am not an aggressive man.
I just seemed to have gently spiralled into the void.
I was watching others live, full of envy.
My jealousy, made me want to level out.
It didn't mean i would help myself.
Go figure what else.
It finally changed the grey.
And, as you would suspect, scarlet coloured my way.

This loop I lived in, Turned it bleak,
Grey, empty, the light of the past makes the present light weak.
I look over an empty field.
Where would grow life, I'm planting concrete.

The dark alleys of industry,
Is what my windows let through.
But for morals of life,
The blinds were shut by truth.
This truth was hidden from me,
fading to grey.
This truth made me colour it again.
